fireman 1,021 #54 Posted June 11, 2010 I got most of the painting done now. The seat bracket is drying and then I need to remove the tie rods and paint them. I still have to decide to paint the front rims silver, or the back rims white The decals have been ordered and should be here anytime now. Now it's really crunch time to try and get it finished for the show
Kelly 1,029 #55 Posted June 11, 2010 Looks good, if your leaving the lift handle off, find a left side cover off a 300,400 or 500 series with hyd. lift and the panel will not have the hole in it, some years have a very small hole for the park brake knob others no hole at all. Also got the seat bracket and seat mounted back on. I have to work my 24 hour shift tomorrow so Monday when I get home, I will work on the harness and get that ready. fireman 1,021 #73 Posted June 15, 2010 Spent late last night and most of today working on the tractor. Trying feverishly to get it done in time for the show. I was able to drill out the broken bolt for the exhaust manifold and re-tap it. Cleaned up the engine and got that permanently installed. I started to work on the wiring when I looked at my watch and realized it was time to get the kids from the bus. Hopefully after the kids baseball game tonight I can at least get the wiring done enough to try and fire it up . Keep your fingers crossed!
