truckin88 104 #51 Posted February 19, 2010 I think it will sell quickly, now that it is known to the WH public.. It will go to the right person, my machines all get used, so it is not for me and for 6500, like I said you can get a nice cut 4x4 diesel with a fel.....but for a guy that is a collector...cash talks and right now OPE dealers are hurting big time in the new york metro area. So I think you could get it for a reasonable deal. $5-6K cash and I think they are loading it on your trailer. Maybe they would even put a bow on it like lexus. Wonder if they will include a deck or snow blade....
DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #52 Posted February 19, 2010 I just sold some stock so it's very tempting. I'd use it and beat the crap out of it since it's not worth keeping new due to the 50% depreciation it's already had based on inflation.
DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #53 Posted February 19, 2010 You know, $6,500 is really quite reasonable. In 1994, I paid $5,100 for my 416-H add all the goodies plus inflation and you got yourself a heck of a deal. If anyone is interested (like Stevebo) I can pick it up and store it (but I get to sit on it once or twice!) Adjusted for inflation $6500 today would be equal to paying $3,288.00 in 1986 which is as you say a heck of a deal. http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl
