Redbird 1 #1 Posted February 10, 2010 We managed to dig out somewhat from the weekend. But, here's what it looked like at 3pm today That's David's C-121 and YES it does have a plow on it I can't get out there to plow cause the snow is blowing straight across and coming from the west right into my face

whfan74 2,064 #5 Posted February 10, 2010 That horse has it's worked cut out for it...........but no doubt in my mind it can get it done! B)
Redbird 1 #6 Posted February 10, 2010 I know that tractor can get the job done if the snow was coming DOWN instead of blowing sidewasy at 30 MPH LOL As for my "seat cover".....well, that trash bag's just to make it easier to get the snow off when I finally do get to go out and get in some "seat" time. Will fill those of you NOT getting snow ..in on how bad things really are this time..in Non Related link. As for pics working the tractor?...I'm the only one here so no one to shoot for me ..maybe when David finally gets home.
rickv1957 71 #7 Posted February 11, 2010 Glad your getting snow and not me!! Rick
stevasaurus 22,530 #8 Posted February 11, 2010 Redbird...take pics from the seat of the horse...be surprised the views you get, and put everybody else in the driver'seat. I understand the snow may be to deep for that. They are saying...it is a once in a lifeime storm.
Lane Ranger 10,853 #9 Posted February 11, 2010 Redbird: I think you win the prize for most snow with a wheel horse for 2010! Looks like lots of real work to be done there in Maryland! B)
rmaynard 15,309 #10 Posted February 11, 2010 Official snowfall total over the last 24 hours here in Westminster, MD 21157 area is 29 inches. This is on top of the 22 inches from last weekend. Here are some pictures just taken: The top of the Rhododendron sticking out of the snow drift is 8 feet above ground. The top of the lamp post is 6 feet. I will post a few more pictures tomorrow with the B-100 for a little perspective. Bob

JimD 3,345 #12 Posted February 11, 2010 here in Ohio we got a foot last week and about 8 or 9 inches the last two days, and i thought that was a lot of snow. it pales in comparison to what you're dealing with. i suddenly feel lucky. B)
Redbird 1 #13 Posted February 11, 2010 OK guys......morning pics The 1st pic is out the bedroom window. Granted there's no horse in it, but that's because I wanted to give a little perspective of how much I'm gonna have to TRY to plow. That's David's Toyota Tacoma in the driveway. The "lump" in front of it is my Ford station wagon, still buried from the last snow. The horse is actually about 25' past my car. This pic gives you an idea how just how much I'm gonna have to get through.
