Messin with the Electro 12

Recommended Posts

Ken B

Today I decided to throw a set of ag tires and caps on the Electro 12 I recently redid. I added some diamond plate and a side pipe. (don't worry it won't melt the new decals) The one thing I always disliked about this tractor was the way it sounded. I finally decided too ditch the coffee can. It has a very nice sound now. B) Next on the list is a new set of tri ribs for the front.

I've thought about buying one of those "universal" mufflers like that & useing as a stack.

Never though about mounting it that way.

How's it do with your knee....still far enough back you don't get any heat off of it?

Great looking Electro also!!

Reaching up for the plow angle lever is probably fun too.

It would make a nice hand warmer though. B)

The plow handle clears the muffler by far, but it is kinda a long reach for the angle handle on the Electro. My knee really isn't even close too it and heat isn't a problem at all. I added a chrome pipe on the muffler with a turn out on it too direct fumes away from me. I don't mind stacks on tractors if its done right, I thought if I made a stack out of this muffler on this tractor it would have looked red neck. B)

The exhaust has my brain spinning now. I think I may do this on my C-160 with the stack muffler. It hits low hanging limbs after ice storms. B)
