Ken B 3,164 #1 Posted February 7, 2010 Today I decided to throw a set of ag tires and caps on the Electro 12 I recently redid. I added some diamond plate and a side pipe. (don't worry it won't melt the new decals) The one thing I always disliked about this tractor was the way it sounded. I finally decided too ditch the coffee can. It has a very nice sound now. Next on the list is a new set of tri ribs for the front.

Rollerman 290 #4 Posted February 7, 2010 I've thought about buying one of those "universal" mufflers like that & useing as a stack. Never though about mounting it that way. How's it do with your knee....still far enough back you don't get any heat off of it? Great looking Electro also!!

TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #6 Posted February 7, 2010 Reaching up for the plow angle lever is probably fun too. It would make a nice hand warmer though. B)
Ken B 3,164 #7 Posted February 7, 2010 The plow handle clears the muffler by far, but it is kinda a long reach for the angle handle on the Electro. My knee really isn't even close too it and heat isn't a problem at all. I added a chrome pipe on the muffler with a turn out on it too direct fumes away from me. I don't mind stacks on tractors if its done right, I thought if I made a stack out of this muffler on this tractor it would have looked red neck. B)

I think I may do this on my C-160 with the stack muffler. It hits low hanging limbs after ice storms. B)
