whfan74 2,067 #2 Posted February 2, 2010  Though this would be a great idea and something that could be done, it would be a huge undertaking for a group of individuals. Now that the annual Wheel Horse show has really taken off in Penn. I can see how it would be hard for another show of that magnitude to take place during the year. Many of the collectors plan work time, family vacations, and other summer activities around the show that is already in place. Are you planning a show up in South Bend? There are many in the area that would surely come. Or is this a hope that one will be started there? Enjoy the forum and post often!

customhorses 0 #5 Posted February 2, 2010 Even if it was a one time 15th or 20th Anniversary show or of some sort like that,it would be great. An annual show would be great too! Just a thought, since it was built here. I know I would be there, if such a show was organized! Thanks to all who posts their thoughts on this!!!!
W9JAB 156 #6 Posted February 2, 2010 This sounds like a good idea, but the last time I was in South Bend, it was like a bombed out European village. The only business in town were strip joints (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I found the whole place very depressing.

BPjunk 184 #11 Posted February 20, 2010 The Union that worked at the Wheel Horse plant in South Bend used to put on a tractor show each year in South Bend and they did invite the Wheel Horse Collectors Club to come out and they would make Wheel Horse the featured tractor for the show BUT some thing fell out on thier end about the show and we never heard from them again ????
