Landed a familiar one.

Rollerman

Did some tradeing with Jim M today.

He brought me a sharp little 1047 short frame with plow, deck & a pile of skids for my wood burner.

I sent him home with a rare, vintage, commercial grade Roof 60 tractor/mower thingy.

I have to say Pat...you do nice work.

Tucked away with my other short frames...newly aquired 1075, an 855 W/FEL restored by Bob Rock....my roller & 18A in the background.

A Roof 60...it's an older type of commercial, municpal, estate mower with a 2 range hydro, K482 Kohler 18HP twin & a 60" belly deck built in the mid 60ies into the later 70ies.

Kinda unique because they had 23x8.50 sized rubber all the way around, ran almost 20MPH in high range.

There was another Roof tractor called the Palemino that had a Willys styled flat fender jeep body & used the same platform as the Roof 60.

The Palemino's are pretty collectable & pricey today.

Roof manufacturing built a few differant smaller lawn mowers too.

Here's a pic of Jims new treasure...

I'll post some pictures of the Roof one of these days...............

Never mind. I see Stephen posted a picture while I was typing. He moves pretty fast for his size!

Karl I guess it was an impulse buy...come to think about it they all are.

It was neat at first, but it's a real space hog....especially after I brought home a pair of D's

Besides I'm a sucker for the post 65 short frames.

Very nice Horse. Its really shiny! Anyway, I liek that super mower also. Whats the fastest it can cut grass? Not in high gear running at 20MPH i hope. LOL.
