Docwheelhorse 2,647 #1 Posted January 24, 2010 Hello All, went out to Westerly Rhode Island and hauled this bad boy home yesterday. Muffler was completly rotted off, fuel pump was disconnected and gas tank hooked up to gravity feed, dead battery on and on.... but straight and tight and with 15 minutes work at home I had it purring like a kitten. I heated up the exhaust nipple and it unthreaded from the block even!!! So I rotated it and put a clamp on Nelson muffler for now. That makes (4) C160's 8 spds, A C161 Automatic, A C165 8 spd and a 416 8 spd or.... 112 HORSEPOWER ON TAP Tony

TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #4 Posted January 24, 2010  Man's tractor??? I don't see any recoil starter. Not hard to see what your favorite type of Horse is. :wwp:
Dresden Guy 24 #5 Posted January 24, 2010 Hallelujah... nice "C". I just got my first C-160 8-speed (61-16K802) three days ago and haven't had time to crank it yet, but you should put a vid up on YouTube of that running just so us "C guys" can hear it. What year is it? Your "new stallion" is in fabulous condition, mine not that good but it'll have to do. I posted pics a couple of days ago: "C-160 pics" That tractor barely fits in the state of Rhode Island! Docwheelhorse 2,647 #14 Posted January 24, 2010 Ummmm Sorry.... A 115 lb woman with a C160---hmmm, now that is an impressive power to weight ratio!!! Tony
Buzz 502 #15 Posted January 24, 2010 It seems like the C-160s are coming out of the woodwork lately. I had my FREE C-160 automatic running and driving this fall but had a small electrical problem so set it aside to work on it. Then let's just say that life got in the way of me working on my tractors so hopefully I'll get to it this spring. My first "C" and my first automatic so it will be a learning experience. Looks good Tony.
