hm12460 53 #1 Posted January 18, 2010 Gentlemen, i've been looking for an older model with a single cylinder kohler, 8 speed, and a manual lift/pto. I do believe i found one and will be going to pick it up later this week. Mnay thanks to Matt (bowextreme) for hooking me up with the seller. It will make a fine addition to my John Deere 214, and 216. Will try to get some picture's up later in the week. Sometimes i think half the fun of this hobby is the hunt. Meeting some really nice people along the way is really nice too. I could tell a lot of stories about the things that have happened over the years, all of them good. Now if i could just find a cub cadet 70 or a 100!
rmaynard 15,308 #2 Posted January 18, 2010 What model did you get hooked up with? Bob
rmaynard 15,308 #4 Posted January 19, 2010 Sweet. I have owned a B-100 (71-10K801) since 1993. It's great. Only things ever replaced were tie rods, one front spindle (hit a stump), starter, seat and tires and battery. Not bad for almost 33 years of use. Post some pictures when you get it. Bow_Extreme 544 #7 Posted January 19, 2010 Congrats, I'll let you post pics when you pick it up. It's a nice horse and only needs a few minor details taken care of like all horses usually do. I hope you enjoy it. If you ever decide to sell it you know who to call.

Docwheelhorse 2,647 #10 Posted January 19, 2010 Remember to gently introduce the Wheel Horse to the John Deeres so that there aren't any fights.... and don't show any favortism. They will all figure out how to get along. Tony
