sscotsman 148 #2 Posted January 18, 2010 Loyd, looks like you are choosing the wrong "link option" from Flickr.. all you want is the link to the image alone..you dont need all that extra stuff.. all you need is this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2796/428505..._103e5dbc5f.jpg thats the direct link to the actual photo itself.. then, you click the IMG button..insert that link between the two IMG tags, and the result is: Loyd's photo: Scot

sscotsman 148 #4 Posted January 18, 2010 I just checked a Friend's Flickr account..(I dont have one myself..) Flickr makes it difficult! When you click on the "share this" button you get three options: Grab the Link Grab the HTML Blog it NONE of those work for inserting the photo into a thread! instead you have to out-smart flickr..(I know they do allow hotlinking into threads..(not all free image hosts do) they just dont make it easy, because they want people to see the whole Flickr website, not just the image alone..) What you have to do is open the photo on your Flickr page, so you see the whole full-size pic..then *right* click on the photo with the mouse, choose "properties"..THEN copy and paste the image URL from the "properties" window..it has to include the .jpg at the end to work properly..
