bork 0 #1 Posted January 15, 2010 Is it good to put a drop of oil on pivot points (like linkage & pins etc...) or does this attract dust & accelerate wear?
Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #2 Posted January 15, 2010 I'm thinkin that no lube at all would cause the most wear. I would definitly put a dab of grease on the pivot points. Mike.....
Sarge 3,463 #3 Posted January 16, 2010 Look for a graphite based lube from Farm or Truck suppliers called "Slip-Plate". Available either in spray cans or liquid quarts/pints. Goes on like paint and creates a very slick wear surface that lasts quite awhile. Just don't paint things you want clean, it can be messy. Sarge
