rmaynard 15,417 #1 Posted January 15, 2010 In my search for the elusive NOS B-100 Dash Panel, I came across this one. Does anyone know exactly which model this is from? I have highlighted the embossing with chalk to make it more visible. Otherwise, this one appears to have been all black with no highlights. Thanks. rmaynard 15,417 #3 Posted January 15, 2010 Not positive but looks like an older c series like c100/120 I'm sure RickV is out in the barn right now comparing the picture to one of his 47 horses and will have the definitive answer momentarily. Bob
Bow_Extreme 544 #4 Posted January 15, 2010 That dash panel was used on the "B" series tractors and maybe the "C" series as well.
rmaynard 15,417 #5 Posted January 15, 2010 That dash panel was used on the "B" series tractors and maybe the "C" series as well. It is different than my B-100 as shown below: Bob
Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #6 Posted January 15, 2010 I realize that your looking for a NOS dash Bob but whats wrong with yours? Looks good and doesnt seem to be cracked in the picture . The other one you showed is definitly off a Kohler powered machine as a "C" series with a Briggs did not have a slot for the choke. Mike..........

Sparky, The B-100 dash in the picture does not show that it is warped. Also, the embossing has been silver-foil leafed. I don't know how well it will hold up. Thanks for the info though. bob i got this same dash on a 77- b-80 1978 c-81 and a 1979 c-121 Duke, Thanks for that info Bob
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #9 Posted January 15, 2010 Guaranteed-original, one-owner 1976 B-80 dash with both toggle switch holes plugged with the correct plastic plugs: I can't remember if my 1975 B-80 had the electric clutch switch hole or not.
HankB 16 #10 Posted January 15, 2010 Looks like the same dash may have been used on the A-80 as well.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #11 Posted January 15, 2010 Whats that extra thing just to the right of the choke lever? Looks like a push button ? Mike..........

Bow_Extreme 544 #13 Posted January 15, 2010 I also believe these dash panels were interchanged on some of the very same models. I have a dash with holes for all options that came off a B-100 and also pulled a matching one off a B-80. They could have been swapped out at one time or another as I wasn't the original owner nor did I acquire them from the original owner.

rmaynard 15,417 #16 Posted January 15, 2010 Whats that extra thing just to the right of the choke lever? Looks like a push button ? Mike.......... That is a cigarette lighter. Bob
rmaynard 15,417 #17 Posted January 15, 2010 All of the ones that you guys have shown pictures of are different. The one I am asking about has no cigarette lighter hole, no electric clutch hole, and no rabbit or turtle symbols. My B-100 dash does have the holes for the lights and clutch, but they are plugged like in the picture that "TT" attached. Bob
Daddy Don 905 #18 Posted January 16, 2010 Same dash as my 1979 C111
HankB 16 #19 Posted January 16, 2010 Whats that extra thing just to the right of the choke lever? Looks like a push button........ Nitrous? You wouldn't believe how fast.... No, just a push button on/off switch. Judging by the look of the other dash panels, I don;t think it is OE. Nothing connects to it and there is nothing on the tractor to power with it. rickv1957 72 #21 Posted January 16, 2010 Bob,your original dash looks good, cant see how it is warped in picture but you can use a heat gun and maybe straighten out,has worked great for me,also all dash panels were highlighted when new,Rick

I know it doesn't look all that bad, but because of the location of the bow, it is going to catch dirt and water. I guess I could use some glue and glue it to the back plate. I'm still thinking hard about the NOS panel that you have. Bob
mnWHfan 47 #24 Posted January 16, 2010 That dash was used on the 1978 and 1979 C-series tractors. I have that same one on each of my C161's.
