RADMAN521 0 #1 Posted January 11, 2010 Just lookin for some advice. I have a D200 series 1-0631 model number. The motor runs great no problem starting in cold weather. Gas is new. I was pushin some snow and the tractor stopped at the end of the driveway. None of the hydraulics worked. I could not get it to go anywhere. I disengaged the hydro lock and tried to push it out of the road and nothing. After approx 20 minutes I tried to move it by its own power and it moved up the driveway and closer to the garage and it stopped again. Has been outside for 4 days. I finally got a push and its in the garage and I checked the fluids in the transaxle and it is between the lines. I will need to get new fluid (any suggestions?) I figure I'll get a new filter if I can find one. Does anyone have the numbers for the filters? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Rollerman 290 #3 Posted January 11, 2010 Look at the coupler between the engine & hydro pump. Make sure it's not sliping on the hydro's input splined shaft or that the rubber disc between the engine side & hydro pump side hasn't ripped. Double check all the control linkages to make sure nothings oout of wack.....easy on a D since the linkages are a little more complex & get sloppy with wear. If thats good go ahead & service the hydro with new fluid & filter. When you go with a filter I strongly recomend a Wheel Horse filter. If one can't be found at a Toro dealer or via the web I'd recomend a high quaility hydraulic filter at the very least. A standard oil filter for an engines not going to cut it. rickv1957 72 #6 Posted January 14, 2010 is it possible that you have a little water in tranny oil that froze?Rick
RADMAN521 0 #7 Posted April 2, 2010 It was not the coupler. So I tore apart EVERYTHING. I am now in the process of determining whether it the tranaxle motor or the pump.
