stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #1 Posted January 9, 2010 Guys, I purchased an old vintage gas powered materials handler called Kal-Truk. I was told by a guy on line that it was produced by the Kalamzoo Manufacturing Company that is no longer in buisiness. They have a website but not much there. I was told that there is a catolog in the Kalamzoo Public Library that has pictures and specs on this machine. I was told by the guy Jeremy who I think made the website that he has never heard of one for sale nor has heard of any still in existance. I am trying to get as much info as possible. Anyone know of this or live in Kalamzoo who is willing to make a trip to the library and make some copies ?? Thanks- Steve Bo

blacksmithman 1 #4 Posted January 9, 2010 I have a vehicle like this. It is not running at this time as I'm having trouble with the starter ring rotating on the fly wheel. It can carry a heavy load on the bed. Sorry I do not have any pictures of the truck but it looks like the first add.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #5 Posted January 9, 2010 Sorry guys... no pictures of this one right now. It is under cover with snow on it. Simply looks like a rear driven large dump cart.
VinsRJ 721 #6 Posted January 9, 2010 Steve, I saw your dump kart Wednesday night when my brother and I picked up the Breedy tractor. Cool unit but..... I've got to ask.... Why? I got a couple of engines from the guy for $9.

fireman 1,021 #10 Posted January 9, 2010 Yep! That's the one. I hauled it home for Steve. It must weight close to a ton. His has hydraulic pistons on the sides that do the dumping. Looks like someone modified it a long time ago. The one in the picture looks like it dumps manually.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #11 Posted January 10, 2010 As fireman said it is the one in the first ad. I guess it is early 60's vintage. Thanks for finding this. Please keep the info coming. Thanks-
