Craig Arndt 6 #1 Posted December 29, 2009 Bringing home a new horse, a 520-H, to compliment the 416. This will be my sons tractor and will be put to use this winter. I will start the restoration in the spring. First order of business will be a muffler, fluids and fixing the headlights. Plenty of things to work on with this tractor, but it will be fun to restore it. Came with a 48" deck in great shape and quiet. Only picture I have is attached, more this weekend. Has 799 on the meter, hydro pump and lift quiet, all gauges work, started on first crank. Sat in a barn for a couple years- we'll see what I bought.
Rideawaysenior 25 #2 Posted December 29, 2009 Take a good look at the muffler before you go and spend some heavy cash on a new one. Retail they are over $400.00. It's very common for the exhaust manifold bolts to strip out as they are very short. Easy and quick repair too.

I asked the guy what a new muffler was, that was his exact words- $400! Can't even limp with this one. Behind the headlights it's all black from rich exhaust. Headlights and tails don't work. Gauges do. I pick up tomorrow so I will post pics.
