Dale I was wanting to do same thing on c-125. They make an electric pump

that would probably be an easier install. Or they make an electric linear

actuater to raise and lower lift. I am thinking to go with electric actuator

on mine. I am also in process of making a rear clevis hitch with electric

actuator for use on just the rear lift. that way I can leave mower on and

still use rear lift independantly. when I get finished will try to figure out

how to post some pics.

DALE I ALSO WAS THINKING THAT MAYBE A POWER STEERING PUMP

FROM AUTOMOTIVE MIGHT BE ENOUGH TO RUN A SMALL CYLYNDER

LIKE IS ON WHEELHORSE. THAT SHOULD BE A FAIRLY SIMPLE MOUNTING

AND WOULD HAVE RESEVOIR BUILT IN. ANY COMMENTS ON PWR STEERING

PUMP FROM ANYONE AS WHETHER THIS WOULD WORK OR NOT?

I have an 85 416-8 speed with an electric over hydraulic setup.

It's a clean setup & the pump powers a stock Wheelhorse HYD cylinder just as if it were a hydro tractor with power lift except it's uses a toggle not a lever.

Similar electric/HYD pumps can be found in the RV industry for slide outs or in the marine industry on the bigger boats with trim plates & or power trim & lift.

Just to give you some ideas.

This isn't the best picture & it's buried at the moment.
