Duff 206 #1 Posted December 27, 2009 So Christmas morning comes and we go through the present opening thing. Very nice, and made me feel very blessed that we were able to afford Chrtistmas at all in these tough economic times. So all is done, then a few hours later the wife comes out with a box and a mischievous grin, explaining that Santa must have left something hidden in her closet, 'cuz she sure couldn't remember putting it there. Right........ I open the box and what do I discover but a complete set of decals for my 312-8 created by our friend and fellow RS member, Terry (Vinylguy). Yippeee!!!! I only vaguely remember making a passing comment to my wife a few months ago that sometime this winter I'd need to order up a set of decals to complete the tractor. She [fortunately in this case] doesn't miss a trick! Now fellas, getting a set of decals isn't perhaps the most exciting thing that could happen to any of us (free tractors come to mind...), but I wanted to share this for a reason, especially for the newer members. The quality and craftsmanship of these decals (full set for everything you'd find on a 312-8 or 312-A) is incredible! It's obvious that Terry puts a great deal of research and care into producing these for us. Anyone thinking about doing a rebuild or restoration may want to visit his web site (See Red Square Vendors section) - you will be very pleased if you do business with him. Pictures of the finished project will be forthcoming; I've started the final reassembly. Happy New Year to one and all!
