hotrodmerc 1 #1 Posted December 24, 2009 I am not new to Wheel Horse tractors. I own a 552 that belonged to my Father. He purchased it in 1963. It has pushed snow,mowed lawns and fields and pulled many a car around the shop. The transaxle just went out last week during the 20+" snow that we had. I am currently in the middle of a 4 to 8 speed swap. Just need a belt and the brake/clutch arm to be completed. I would love to restore it someday but I use it to darn much and don't want the downtime. My brother and I jointly own a GT 2500 that belonged to our Grandfather.
