Save Old Iron 1,566 #2 Posted December 9, 2009 I just guessing here - but the bearings and bushings probably disappeared somewhere along this timeline - from your website how have others repaired / avoided this problem ?? not this way, wee laddie. (again, from your website) use your model and serial numbers - go to the toro website and order / download a repair manual for the transmissions. search this site for bearing and seal replacement part #'s that can be ordered from NAPA or TORO

sawhorse 0 #7 Posted December 10, 2009 In other words, you have taken two wheel horses hostage. In order for them to be returned unharmed, we need to disclose the information.

chazm 413 #9 Posted December 14, 2009 Dude ...like it said in an earlier post use your model and serial numbers - go to the toro website and order / download a repair manual for the transmissions. search this site for bearing and seal replacement part #'s that can be ordered from NAPA or TORO
Buzz 502 #10 Posted December 14, 2009 According to Toro's website, both the B-81 and the B-111 have Peerless 669 transmissions, not Unidrives. I don't know if you can get parts to rebuild them or if it would be worthwhile . You can always download a manual to see if it's something you'd want to try.
