Over the course of the week a guy i do tractor swappin with had been begging me for my jacobsen cheif cause he couldnt find any. Turns out he needed mine to build a white town and country he has sitting in his barn. so with reluctance we talked and i got to keep the nicely running 10 hp kohler from my jacobsen (going into a wheel horse to revive it) and in trade for the chassie i got to take my pick from his allis chalmers he had collected. Long story short after unloading and swapping he got a rolling chassie snow blower and mowing deck and i got away with wheel weights and a solid all there allis chalmers B-110..Pictures to come once i clean the 3 inches of barn dust off the girl. rustbucket 4 #4 Posted December 8, 2009 Did some tinkering and found out gas tank leaks badly. new one comeing from the guy i got it from hopefully this weekend. the good old cast iorn 10 hp briggs runs like a dream nice and strong with lots of compression. seems to have a new set of points and condensor under the cover. on a side note it seemss the ignition orriginal to the engine under the metal cover isnt working as who ever had it prior to the guy i got it from has riigged her to run off a 12 volt automotive coil. I'm not complaining she runs like a dream and im planing on makeing her my pulling tractor to finaly kill all those dang cubs i always end up going against at the local pulls.
