Prater 75 #51 Posted December 9, 2009 Rick, I am not sure that the shaft on the side of the pump is getting moved forward or backwards enough. Can I unhook the linkage and move it manually with the tractor running on the stands and see if I notice a difference, or would not having the resistance of the tractor on the ground give me false results? Prater 75 #54 Posted December 11, 2009 The exhaust looks homemade to me. Sorry, no idea who made them, I may eventually make a new setup. I do have a K&N filter on the way for a 4" breather. I know stock its a 3" breather but I like a little extra air going through the engine. I have an Accel Performance coil for a Twin Harley, a main pump, and rear end also on the way. Prater 75 #56 Posted December 21, 2009 Well bad news on the rear end. It leaked pretty good while I was in North Carolina working. I have a rear end payed for in Detroit, just have to get it here now. I also worked some on the wiring and added the Accel Coil. I also have a 4" K&N filter and a breather cover for the engine. Prater 75 #58 Posted June 21, 2010 I am finally getting back to work on the D. I am starting to paint the wheels and have the new rear end home. I just need to order the seals and dig in...I have a few weeks before I have to head to Memphis for work. Transmission on the pallet Rear Wheels in primer First coat of Rustoleum Gloss Ivory I will have to do some minor sanding on the first wheel. The paint came out of the nozzle and created a puffy affect on the rim. I was a little miffed but figured a good sanding between coats is good. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Prater 75 #62 Posted June 22, 2010 just test started with the coil. I still have to gt the rear end out and some new front tires. I was looking for tri ribs but none are the right size, I may just go with a set of smaller ags on the front. The k&N filter is for a generator that uses the taller air cleaner that I have. Dad, just keep trying...LOL I ordered the necessary orings and seals to change the manifold on the rear end. I ordered extras in case I need to changethe pump also.
