BillyBob 0 #1 Posted November 27, 2009 The bug has bitten and I am determined to jump into buying a project. Which pre 1970 model(s) of WH are most desirable? Are there certain models to stay away from and which are highly sought after. My interest is such that I would like to be able to restore one that I can also find various implements for such as a plow or snow thrower and mower deck. Any suggestions? stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #2 Posted November 27, 2009 The RJ's are a nice easier restore if you can find one that is fairly complete. 1958/59 are easier to find and they are neat little tractors. Depends what you want when you are done.... a restore/worker, a restore show tractor etc. When you find a complete tractor that has not been messed with that is the one to start with. Good luck.
