14 Auto no forward

I have a 14 auto 1-0435 that it doesn"t go forward.I aded fluid when I had no reverse and fixed that but a couple of days later I couldn't get the lever to go into forward.I took the shifting plate off to look at things and the cam follower arm won't go into forward but it will into reverse. To get it to move from my driveway I had to hold the cam arm over and it crept very slowly and I wondered what was inside the pump to keep it from going into gear. Thanks for any advice.
