dgoyette 12 #5 Posted November 12, 2009 Great D Rick. I can see why it is your favorite D. I noticed your 180 has the parking brake on the panel and also has the two notches back movement of the motion control lever. Mine has the same set up. I have been told the lower notch is a parking brake as well. I have been hesitant to use it as such and briefly looked at the linkage and could not see how it would engage the brake. On mine a prior owner bolted a steal plate over the panel parking brake lever making it inoperable. I have not been able to conclude why yet. Curious - Do you use the lower rear notch on the motion control lever? Darren
rickv1957 72 #6 Posted November 12, 2009 Darren,on this tractor I dont use the motion control but use the knob on dash for park,Rick

Just incredible, can't wait to see your 18 Auto proto type as that's what I have been told I have but someone installed a 20hp in it, and it has been modified in many ways for working. Shuboxlover 478 #21 Posted November 13, 2009 YOU MUST OPEN A MUSEUM!!!!!!!!!!! I would pay nearly anything to see all those in one spot. How long have you been collecting? Do you use the FEL to get the ones off the loft??? BTW...I have my eye on a D two miles from where I live....just lying, waiting in the weeds for the right moment.
