chris11 184 #29 Posted January 10, 2010 I applaud your efforts, Sir! I do see the fuse on the Briggs bomb growing much shorter though. Terry you dont think it can be done? I have built alot of open briggs engines for karts. wont take much to machine rods. put inserts in. will have to crate the block.

Stress Test Pullin 0 #32 Posted January 10, 2010 your best bet for pulling would be to buy a Kohler 25 hp vtwin, and modifying it
chris11 184 #33 Posted January 10, 2010 yes that would be nice , but ill stay with my plan, best part of what i do for a living is i can run it on my shops dyno to dial it in. takes the guess work of of every thing. http://www.ktrmotorsports.com/service/dynamometer.htm

chevy030303 0 #45 Posted February 21, 2010 ok where did u git the frame parts and frout tires and wheels ???
clintonnut 126 #46 Posted February 21, 2010 If you haven't noticed already, wheel horse frames are made of parts you can aquire at your local hardware store. Charlie
chris11 184 #47 Posted February 21, 2010 I had a 8 foot piece of 2 by2 angle iron the same as wheelhorse used. The back mount is from a old frame that was cracked. I cut it off and cleaned it up. 3/4 round stock is DOM tubing thick wall. and i made the front pivot mounts for the front axle. made a new pivot pin, steering shafts. Thats the frame parts. The front axle i machined the pivot hole out and made a bronz bushing on a 10 degre angle. because the frame has a 7 degre rake.also made up some lowered spindles. axle should have about 3 degree caster. wheels from midwest super cub, tires from ebay. i have been very busy trying to get all the bits to build this kohler vtwin. so i can have this done soon. ill post pictures soon.
