Rotary Broom

I've seen these used on comercial properties for snow removal. They seem to work pretty good so I spent some time to get it ready. This should take care of the light stuff and clean up after snow blowing.

Looks really good, John! The college where I work uses a very similar set-up in the spring to sweep dead grass and leaves off the lawns - pretty slick operation.

Nice!

John I bought one last year a "Sweepster" got it mounted to one of the 520"s.

It works great in snow I was broomin 6" of the stuff of my sidewalk with no problems! In the spring I use it to sweep the gravel off the grass from plowing.

I tried clicking on your images with no luck.

You should be able to see the images???????????

Maybe I should try it in the back yard for acorn removal too, those dam things are everywhere and it takes forever with a rake. This should speed things up a bit, I hope.

If you have neighbors you don't like, maybe you could spin it backwards and shoot them out at 100mph!! The sweeper is really cool though in person. Stiff brushes. Can't see why it wouldn't work good on the light fluffy stuff.

If you think snow blowing is a wind dependent operation wait until you try a sweepster on a breezy day :scratchead:
