Lane Ranger 10,979 #1 Posted October 19, 2009 :scratchead: I am in the process of restoring a 50 inch sickle bar mower with my brother. I am not sure the model but it is a later 60's version. I have some of the decals and can send some photos later this week but was wondering if this is something you could make a set of for this old piece of equipment. We are repainting, resplacing and restoring pulleys, bolts, blades, etc. It is a winter project and decals not needed right a way but I would like to finish it up as close to original as possible.. Let me know Terry what I can do to help you with this task. Lane
MikesRJ 552 #2 Posted October 19, 2009 What would you say if I told you I had a manual for that " 50" Side Mount Sickle "? And that all side sickle bars had at least three (pre-'64 early models) or more (65 and later models) decals. You may want to look here for the manuals but the following is a rough guide. Sickle Bar Manuals ID# - Part Number - Nomenclature 98 - 4410 - Decal 99 - 4411 - Decal 100 - 3710 - Decal-Grease And sometimes: 4498 - Decal, General Caution 5604 - Decal, Attachment Emblem
