TJ 175 #1 Posted October 16, 2009 My neighbor found this old Wheel Horse cultivator while he was cleaning out his fence rows. It had belonged to his father and dates back to approximately 1964. Thanks for looking. Tom

jusjeepn 59 #5 Posted October 16, 2009 Tom, Pretty good example of an AC-7 cultivator. From what I can find they started using these in 1962. They superseded the AC-6 used for prior years. These cultivators came with 2 types of tines, the large shovel tines like you have and the reversible shovel tines which are double ended. The P/N was changed in 1968 to a 7-1711 which was also the last year this model was used. From my drawings your only missing 2 pieces and thats just a bolt and brace to add weight. Nice job! I forgot to add that these were manufactured for W/H by Brinly.
Lane Ranger 10,977 #6 Posted October 16, 2009 TJ: Great job on the cultivator and love the story about how it came to you! It is good to see it on your tractor! Looks like ham and eggs in the morning.
