wallfish 17,014 #1 Posted October 10, 2009 I wanted to build a Wheel Horse truck but couldn't bring myself to cut one of mine in half yet. This tractor was picked up last year and needed a lot of work anyway. Added 24" in length, extended the drive shaft and reconfigured the shifter. This is what I have so far. It runs but smokes. The dump bed 3' x 5' will tilt with me sitting on the front edge, 190 lbs. Steering still needs some work and it was kind of sloppy to begin with.
Don1977 604 #2 Posted October 10, 2009 Looking Good! Just add some stake pockets and some side planks and you'll have a real firewood hauler.
wallfish 17,014 #3 Posted October 10, 2009 I have a rusted out WH 3 x 5 dump cart and was able to salvage the sides. It fits right on the bed.
