popwheelie 0 #1 Posted October 9, 2009 Hello all, great site, I have visited often lately to check out all that is going on. I have a couple of Wheel Horse tractors and need some advice. The 1970 charger 12 runs great but has transmission slippage on steep inclines, meaning it stops and then goes again, not the motor or wheel spin, any suggestions? I was just it the chat room and another member thought maybe hub slipping on the axle? This tractor is in need of a restoration, possibly this winter! I also have a 312-8 that I just picked up two weeks ago for $150 dollars, the tractor is in excellent shape with a perfect mower, the K301 is blown but I have taken off the pan and seen that the connecting rod has let go at the crank, I do not think there was any other damage as far as I can tell. Not that it matters but did I get a good deal? Thanks for any advice
