Gene_S 93 #6 Posted October 5, 2009 Hi Brian, Thanks for all the great pictures. That looks like a great show and a great time! Do you know who that is on the wheel horse with the loader? That looks like another RS member I know from here in Indiana. Thanks, Gene :scratchead:
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #7 Posted October 5, 2009 Do you know who that is on the wheel horse with the loader? That looks like another RS member I know from here in Indiana. You're seeing correctly, Gene! That's none other than "chevelletown" Ken (and his daughter in the loader bucket) on Eldon's C-520.
Gerry w 2 #8 Posted October 5, 2009 That's right, I wrote Ken's story and what he hauled for me to the show under the other topic, "Gas & Steam Engine Show". Great guy!

Buzz 502 #12 Posted October 6, 2009 Wow, what a great show. A lot of Wheel Horses, a lot of familiar faces plus a chance to put a face on some people you only know by their web names. It was good to see some of the founding members of the Wheel Horse Collectors Club, Don and Jeff Kane, Randy and Charlie Culley, and Bill Pearson. Spent some time with Eldon, Charlie, Jim T, and finally got to meet Ken (chevelletown), Brian (buckrancher) and his wife. It was a special pleasure meeting Redbird and her husband, she enjoys this hobby and her Wheel Horses as much, or more, than anyone I know (with the possible exception of Bill Pearson). Oh yeah, Charlie's dad said he'd pulled up behind me at a traffic light in Gap PA on the way to the show but I took off a ran away from them. Well there were two reasons I did. The first is that I wasn't pulling a trailer like them. The second reason was that I had bought a large coffee back in NJ and suddenly realized that I needed to find a place to get rid of it....... :ychain:
