Pictures are coming soon........she's all back together. I just have a few bugs to work out. I need to get the right sized drive belt, a new clutch spring, and a new charging rectifier. Man I am VERY pleased with my first resto. I think it really came out nice. I'm already looking pretty hard for the next Wheel Horse to restore. All I know is I want it to be a round hood this time. I've been working insane amounts of hours, but the next sunny day that i have off, i will post some pics.

Okay, so there is no sun today, but I took a few pics anyway. The paint looks kinda dull because it is so dark and overcast outside, but it really does shine in the sun! Right now the tractor has no mowing deck, lift handle, or PTO clutch, because the PO sold them :notworthy: I'm not too concerned right now about the mower because this tractor will not be used for mowing. I have a 2000-something Craftsman LT-1000 Hydro for mowing duties. Man what a piece of crap it is compared to the C-120. Perfect example of "they don't make things like they used to." So this C-120 will be used for plowing and playing. I would like to at least find the parts needed to replace the PTO clutch incase I want to put a snowblower on sometime. Here are the pics......

Toolman,

Those are Deestone 16x6.50-8 AG tires on the front. 16x6.50-8 is the stock size for the C-series tractors. I got them off ebay, from k-morrow. His ebay store is called Morrow Tire Supply. I'm pretty sure I got the rear Carlisle AG tires from him too. His prices were right, and the shipping was fast too. The idea behind putting AGs on the front is that when plowing with the blade angled, the tires will bite in better than turf tires, and keep the blade from pushing the front of the tractor sideways. The jury is still out on that theory though :notworthy: And an added bonus of the AGs on the front is that I think they look AWESOME! Gives the tractor a "mean" look. That's just my opinion...ymmv.

That turned out great! on top of it all you really made a good investment, Im not just talking about the work restoring your WH, but also the quality time that all 4 of you spent together thru it all! Your boys will never forget it . All 4 of you should be really proud! Your a great team, now to find another to work on :notworthy:

Im currently restoring my 702, Looking your restoration pics really makes me want to go out and work on it right now, but its 12:30 AM and I dont have a shop or lighting so I guess its going to have to wait till morning  Bummer!
