FLtractor 28 #1 Posted Sunday at 07:34 PM (edited) Afternoon, One of the last items for my new to me general maintenance Wheelhorse 1966 856 8 HP Kohler engine .. is the air filter. Can someone tell me the best recommendation for. Best just to buy brand new Kohler given cheap and insurance as far as helps prolong engine life. No idea how old the current filter is.. at least 4 years old.. best just to replace altogether. Not listed in the service parts manual. Yes I asked for a Napa Gold 2374… they said one in stock for two local stores… This is the box it came loose inside… should I return it and order another to get the gold version? If it fits use it I found this online on a different website than the company where I got my filter from. guessing the one I got is a wix filter or one of the different new suppliers, as you suggested.
