nylyon-(Admin) 7,470 #1 Posted April 17 I had thought a while back, Glen Pettit was making the 400 - 500 series test button caps but not sure if anyone took that over. I know that these are missing on just about every 400 / 500 out there, and hopefully someone is printing these or making these. Part number 117217. This is what it looks like just the black cap: And this is what it looks like without the cap, I just want the cap: Side note, interesting the top pic is my 1994 416-H, bottom my 1995 416-8. Interesting that the test button are on opposite sides of the dash panel

peter lena 9,087 #3 Posted April 17 @nylyon looking at your PTO LEVER TO SIDE CONSOL FIT , hiding in plane site ! notice the washer fill in first photo ? thats the gap on your outer pto lever fit ! used teflon / plastic washers / grease to solidly firm up that area , also went thru rest of function for detailing operation , also added heim joint to end of lever rod , and spring pull to lower swing arm area , eliminated " buzzing " linkage , truly one of the gold mine areas to get after , solid / smooth , lots of related opportunities for quiet engagement , also note battery tender , plug in , battery ground to corner of engine , as stated numerous points to improve , pete
squonk 42,513 #4 Posted April 17 Yes Lowell bought out Glen. But I don't see that little whooby-dooby listed on his site.

I know that Lowell bought Glen out, but I don’t think that he continued making everything Glen made. Glen made a lot, including some parts for my old 300ZX.
stevasaurus 23,061 #6 Posted April 17 Again...Lowell might have bought out the inventory that Glen had. If Glen did not give all the inventory to Lowell, Lowell might know who ended up with all that. Regardless, it would be good to know what happemed.
rmaynard 15,913 #7 Posted April 17 I don't know that I can still find my notes, but I bought a whole new switch, button and all from Amazon. Perfect match. I'll do some research.
rmaynard 15,913 #8 Posted April 17 (edited) I don't know if this is like the one I bought, but it looks like it. Check the measurements with yours. Probably cheaper than buying just a cap. https://a.co/d/6ELjMOq Edited April 17 by rmaynard

It's just a failsafe so any fault won't try to light up a dead lamp.
