David Bradley Sickle Bar Mower on a Wheel Horse

Anyone here adapt something like this to a Wheel Horse and how did you do it?  I'd consider doing it but I don't have a lot of time these days.

Update: I saw @Pullstart video.  Looks like you used parts from a snowblower to mount it??

Hey @Bill D, here’s my build thread on that project!

 

 A few things I would mention, in summary:

 

I used the Jari sickle and the DB wobble box for the extra width, to be outside of the Wheel Horse tire section.

I could easily cut any sapling tree that fit between the fingers.

I needed to slow it down even more than the jack shaft I created.

The wobble box had a counter balance.  I could have benefitted from doing more scientific experiments to see how moving it could have improved the balance of the longer blade.

I still have the scar from the 7/16” drill bit in my left hand.   Bumps and bruises thread here 🥴
