:text-welcomeconfetti:to the :rs: Joe.        We could use a little more information.    The cable should not move, but the wire inside the cable should. Is the wire connected to the carb. throttle shaft lever?

The Cable Moves inside. But because the choke and throttle are on the same lever there is a box to separate them but they wont move from there.

At the engine end the cable core should pull on a spring that is connected to the governor linkage.

Do you have the model number and serial number. They would help as different engines were used.

Plenty of manufacturers combined the throttle and choke function into one lever by having the choke come on once the lever moved past full throttle. I have no experience with your model.

I think this might be the manual you need.

The engine is a Kawasaki FB460V

Hmmm. If yours is a rear-engine rider mower, it would have had a Briggs & Stratton engine and the Kawasaki is likely a replacement.

Definitely need pictures of the lever end and the engine end of the throttle cable to be able to help further.

Appears these models used the Kawasaki engine by the K in the model number. B&S used a B.

1988 model E3-12K691

1989 model E3-12K602

1990 model R3-12K601

All six 112-6 models were export models from USA or built in Belgium.
