Kimhoff 0 #1 Posted April 7 All, I have 212-6 that is draining the battery when not in use. It has the Led indicator board. The seat switch Led is emulating when the ignition switch is off. I have unplugged the seat switch but this does not change anything. When I unplug the big connector to the Led board my drain goes away. I am thinking there is an issue with the pc board. I am unable to fined a part number for the board. Any help with a part number or ideas on repairing the pc board would be great. Also if any one knows how to wire around this that would be great also. Thanks Kent
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,241 #2 Posted April 7 Looking at 1987 and 1988 wiring diagrams for the 212-6 and see no led indicator board. Do you have the tractor model number and serial number off the ID decal?

The light Green wire from the seat switch to the LED may have a bad spot in its insulation. Examine the board and the wires going to it and you may be able to isolate and eliminate the problem. The indicator lights have nothing to do with the proper operation of your 212 so running with it unplugged will not harm anything. This wiring guide should be helpful.
