520-8 PTO Seal

My PTO (crankcase) gasket on my 520-8 is leaking, and I pulled it out to replace it. However, when I try to install the new crank gasket, the  crankcase seal keeps rolling out of place. What’s the best way to install it properly?

If crank is clean and polished and the seal is greased, it should go right in.
