stevebo-(Moderator) 8,395 #1 Posted March 23 So it is that time of the year when the weather breaks and spring has sprung. We are all getting ready for the 2025 big show. We will use this thread so post our buy/sell/trade items only please. Try your best to keep it to this topic. I know Squonk will get off topic but that is ok… lol At the moment I don’t really have anything looking to buy sell or trade but if anyone has an original senior or a rj25 let me know😂 4

I'm still wanting something in a 65-68 hydro, although the money might not be there now. I'm also looking for a sickle mower, sms-425 or sms-42-a. Needs work is OK, but I'd like it to at least move. I also have a good bit of sheet metal, dash, steering, and the front axle from a 71. I'll have to get pictures later. Edited March 23 by adsm08

clueless 3,104 #10 Posted March 24 I plan on bringing the '57 RJ35 to sell and a few engines and parts, that's about all I can fit in my Ridgeline. I do have a couple of round hood and some attachments I would like to bring but no room. At 71 I'm done dragging a trailer on a 2000 mile round trip, but the stuff I'm bringing will be for sale.

It's a 2006, 78345 42" SD. It was purchased new by a school district in northern Virginia. It was apparently never used. I got it in 2019 and used it two seasons. It just needs a little cleaning. This should attach right up to your 418-8. If you are interested, I'll bring it to the show. Picture when I got it. Now

I just wanted to have it to go with the tractor if I ever sell it. That will cost more than I want to put into this thing; I only paid 300 for it. Maybe I'll just look for the pulleys I need instead. Thank you, though!

Mr. Start is a young'un compared to me, he also has some equipment to help him load and unload. Now if he is doing all of that by hand, when and if he gets to my age he will definitely need help loading stuff. Now if he doesn't mind the 2000 mile trip from his place to my place he will be much appreciated "I will gladly pay him Tuesday for some help" 1 1

Handy Don 13,229 #20 Posted Wednesday at 09:17 PM (edited) 26 minutes ago, WHX?? said: I wished you wouldn't give people Pullstart's ideas Richard... Actually, some of @Pullstart’s loading ideas do have merit. For example, it was he who converted me from using side-to-side straps for holding a tractor on a trailer to using front-to-rear straps. The method is to loop long tie-down straps, one on each side, around both front and rear axles and to solid endpoints on the trailer. The loops prevent any rolling movement during transit and having two straps (either one with the strength to hold the tractor) gives secure redundancy. When well tightened, there is remarkably little side to side freedom, either. Edited Wednesday at 09:18 PM by Handy Don

Ask me to do that with anything but short frames? Ahhh. No. 3
