Just got another horse. It's a 208-4. Plan on mowing with this one. It's in pretty good shape but the gear on the steering shaft is toast. Am I missing something? Is it pressed or welded? I can't find a way to remove it.

Download the IPL Manual for it - the exploded pictures should give you a clue.

Welcome, It doesnt look like it comes off, IPL shows the shaft & gear is one piece. :(
