K181 rebuild kit

Looking for a replacement carb or a good rebuild kit for the K181.

any good sources

mine started spewing fuel out of the air cleaner.

figured the float or needle got stuck.

Rebuild kits on Fleabay & the Jungle and many other places... DO NOT use the cheap aftermarket kits they will not work!

 

 

@ebinmaine has the correct Kohler Part number. 

 

He's also going to recommend rebuilding instead of $20 aftermarket carbs.

Wow thats a good price EB :thumbs2: and free shipping!

I been seeing they upwards of 15. plus ship. Couple of bucks means alot when one has lots of tractors.

Seriously though. The customer service there is excellent as well. I found them as a vendor on the popular auction site and started buying direct.

I had this issue once Turned out on mine that mud daubers packed the vent hole for the float bowl full. With no place for the air to disperse, the fuel pump forced the gas out through the main jet into the throat of the carb.
