I'm hoping for rims.  This rear is $20.  What's the transmission; can I recoup my $20? 🙃

I can't verify for sure but it looks Wheelhorse ish. 

 

You may find those are a smaller wheel. Maybe 10" vs the standard 12".

My guess is a Wheel Horse model 5066 transmission used in the vertical shaft Commando V8 tractors that were only made in 1969 and 1970. I have a 1970 Commando V8 tractor that has that style of transmission, the shifter is a front mount where the horizontal engine Wheel Horses used a top mount shifter, it's kinda an odd ball transmission.

While that transmission may be an odd ball,  It probable has standard Wheel Horse 1” hubs that are worth more than $20

The rims may be 10" rather than 12" if it was from a Lawn Ranger.

I wouldn't hesitate to drop a $20 on it. If nothing else, I'd take it to the Wheel Horse show and get at least $40 for it.

They are 10" rims, not 12s.  I think I'm going to pass.  Look like there's a pretty good oil leak on the right side.

If anyone going to the show wants it, I'll buy it & bring it to the show for you.

I’d do that, for $20.  I keep the wheels and tires and you get to play with the rest… or we’ll give it away at the show
