Pete D 302 #1 Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM I'm hoping for rims. This rear is $20. What's the transmission; can I recoup my $20? 🙃
ebinmaine 70,003 #2 Posted yesterday at 08:39 AM I can't verify for sure but it looks Wheelhorse ish. You may find those are a smaller wheel. Maybe 10" vs the standard 12".
Horseoholic 204 #3 Posted 23 hours ago My guess is a Wheel Horse model 5066 transmission used in the vertical shaft Commando V8 tractors that were only made in 1969 and 1970. I have a 1970 Commando V8 tractor that has that style of transmission, the shifter is a front mount where the horizontal engine Wheel Horses used a top mount shifter, it's kinda an odd ball transmission.

953 nut 57,034 #6 Posted 22 hours ago The rims may be 10" rather than 12" if it was from a Lawn Ranger.
Pullstart 63,839 #7 Posted 21 hours ago I like my 10” Wheel Horse rims! 2
rmaynard 15,848 #8 Posted 21 hours ago I wouldn't hesitate to drop a $20 on it. If nothing else, I'd take it to the Wheel Horse show and get at least $40 for it.
Pete D 302 #9 Posted 10 hours ago They are 10" rims, not 12s. I think I'm going to pass. Look like there's a pretty good oil leak on the right side. If anyone going to the show wants it, I'll buy it & bring it to the show for you.
Pullstart 63,839 #10 Posted 8 hours ago I’d do that, for $20. I keep the wheels and tires and you get to play with the rest… or we’ll give it away at the show
Pete D 302 #11 Posted 6 hours ago Then give it away it is. I'll contact him and again & tell him I'll take it after all. Btw, zoom on on the right tire - pretty nasty crack in the center of the tread.
