Anyone watch Laid Off Garage on YouTube?

  He seems to be a Wheel Horse guy. Working on a D-180 in the video I watched tonight. He’s in Indiana I heard him say.

I enjoy his channel.  Quite a few WH vids and his approach to getting them running and assessing what you have is pretty relatable.

i just started watching the video on the D180, and, lo and behold, he answered a question raised some time ago on how the carb could be causing gas to enter the crankcase.  I was meaning to ask a buddy about that and get back to @ebinmaine with the answer (needle and seat sticking) but never followed through.   Well there it is (@5:40 mark)!  Thanks.

i watched my first video of his channel a few months ago and have seen maybe 4 or 5 since - including one just this week -- he's an easy listen  -- and I learn something each video............

 

Typically he picks up a non running WH  -- some in ugly condition -- and he just enjoys the challenge of the rescue and getting them running again - I recall one he did a re-power - I think a new little diesel installed - another he did some modest body work/paint -- but mostly his videos are getting the non running engine to operate - not knowing its problem he likes playing detective -- his videos are usually 30 minutes approx so easy time committment to watch.

@Sparky Yeah I subscribed to him a few months ago when I was looking for Wheel Horse stuff on YouTube. I usually watch his videos when they come out or soon after. I’ll agree with others he makes relatable laid back videos they always are interesting too.
