Mike if you need somebody to "babysit" that C160 feel free to drop it off here. 

Rumor has it I have too many already but I dunno.

I heard you were the expert C-160 wrangler lol that's probably why i could never find an 8 speed.

The battery tray was full of connecting rod pieces so previous owner fished some out

Absolutely still could have been the balance gears to blame.  

 

I for one will be removing them from every Kohler single cylinder engine I ever work on.

I've got an M16 I'd like to sell.  It needs a rebuild, but it did run well, just burned oil.  Let me know if you're interested.
