I don't mind some snow but I'm getting sick of seeing it so often.

I don't mind the cold temperatures all the way down to about 15° or so.

Same here, I’ve got a Snowmobile so I’m for snow that much more. But like I said, after the 60 degree day and it overall getting warmer I’m over having any snow. I’d rather be outside doing something than in my house, cold at this point.

Amen. I'm ready to have the shop doors open at work. It gets stuffy in there over the winter.

While walking the dog today, I noticed that the bush honeysuckle plants are starting to leaf out.

Invasive plant.  It leafs out first, and drops leaves last, shading out the underbrush that should be there.

Yesterday was lawn prep day. Dethatched using the Snapper RER (it dethatches, vacuums, and shreds in one pass!), aerated (854 pulls it nicely), and spread pre-emergent crabgrass preventer/grass fertilizer.

Today bundled up the 4-foot heavy cuttings from the privet thinning for DPW pickup next week (the small stuff went through the chipper/shredder last week) and hit all the onion grass with weed-b-gone.

When I got up this morning there's a light dusting of snow and 23*, but the sun is bright, and we should get to 50* by afternoon.

Two hours, give or take, two spots, six fish total that she landed. She got one a little bigger than those two, but it got away while I was trying to get it on the stringer.

Trina measured the side deck rail for snow at 10 AM.

Over 5" ... and several hours of snowing to go.

75F and a great day for the youth early trout opener.

We have a good population of natives in addition to the stocked trout.

More signs of spring.    Daffy Dills and Petunias blooming and the plum and pear trees are budding.

Felton must be a hot-spot.  No petunias here, just daffodils & forsythia.

Hay fever is in full swing, though!

Weather was nice, but at least up here the trout showed up late. It was after 9 before I even saw someone get a bite.

I'd say 9:15 before we got our first one on the line.

The dogwood tree in our side yard is in bloom.

Funny thing about this tree.  We moved into this house in 2003.  That dogwood was planted under 2 oak trees and a locust tree.  It did not bloom for several years.  One year we were talking about cutting the dogwood down.  That year it managed to produce 3 flowers.  May e we scared it into blooming?
