thank you! no, I have the new part, but unfortunately cannot seem to find anything close to a step by step instruction or video on how to replace any of the gauges let along the vacuum. trying to remove only what is needed, and be efficient. 1996 520h

son and I  managed to figure it out. remove battery. remove gauge wires and hose. remove cover plates over throttle and choke levers. disconnect linkage for motion control and hydro. lift hydro and motion levers simultaneously with gauge bezel. secure in some form or fashion raised bezel. simply push any gauge through after removing gauge clamp.
