Starkman 16 #1 Posted yesterday at 03:02 AM I’ve just acquired a new to me 877 to putt around on. It runs (not great) but smokes a lot, has a very cool look, and I love the size of it. I’m gonna cruise around in here and, hopefully, end up with a neat little machine that I can enjoy with my grandson. 6

953 nut 56,783 #3 Posted yesterday at 12:12 PM The short frame Wheel Horses are fun to drive, very maneuverable and able to push snow and tow just about anything. Jim @WHX?? has posted restoration threads on the 1967 models that will help guide you. Please ask any questions you may have, we are here to help.
ri702bill 8,761 #4 Posted yesterday at 12:19 PM (edited) Welcome! Find the correct fuel tank and add an angled pipe elbow for the muffler the hood will latch. Speaking of latches - WATCH OUT for the seat pan latch releasing when you do not want it to! More than one RS Member has been pitched off the back! Fix that dangling wire, add a ground from the hood to the frame. You have a nice project tractor there. You may wish to look over the "New to Herd" thread geared to new WH owners.... Got questions?? Just ask.... Bill Edited yesterday at 12:20 PM by ri702bill
WHX?? 49,942 #5 Posted yesterday at 01:16 PM Nice! A bucket list tractor for me. With the hydro an excellent blade tractor. 44 minutes ago, ri702bill said: Find the correct fuel tank Looks to be the correct tank Bill just not in the correct position. It can be a bugger to get down in there right with the gas cock attached... impossible with a sentimental bowl. Hopefully not missing the hold down strap but that should be an easy find. Cancell that just saw it hanging ther. Let us know if you need help there. '67 short frames did not have a angled pipe but strait out with a long enough nipple. Interesting wheel weights have a pair just like them.

oliver2-44 10,091 #10 Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM Not to scare you off, but just an FYI, Horses are are herd animals. I hope you have a large barn, several more will find you in a short time.

Starkman 16 #16 Posted 1 hour ago The tank is correct, with the original band. I should have taken new pictures of everything back in place. I’m tinkering with getting it to run better, currently. It drove on and off my trailer, but that’s about all it wants right now.
