Chaz54 68 #1 Posted February 19 Some time back I bought the front receiver hitch mount pictured for the front of my 520H. I want to find another one like this or one similar. I’ve done a search here and online, but I can’t seem to find one. I know you guys can get me headed in the right direction. Thanks, Chuck W.

Can you share the dimensions? I'd ask a fabricator friend to give me an estimate to replicate it. Edited February 19 by Handy Don
WHX?? 49,953 #6 Posted February 19 Doesn't look like a hard thing to make. Bet a moron like me could even do it. 1 hour ago, SylvanLakeWH said: bought three Stupid question tho is why would a guy need more than one when you can just clip it on other tractors?

Stupid question tho is why would a guy need more than one when you can just clip it on other tractors? Three reasons: 1. I'm a moron. 2. I like my tractors ready to go for their assigned duties. 3. I sold two with tractors to good people. 4. Did I mention I like cheese curds? 1

I'll try to remember to get some measurements when I do spring cleanup lube etc...

I'll make two and you get the first experimental one that will be all boogered up & farmer welded. 13 minutes ago, ri702bill said: has two fixed supports inside to distribute the load Lost me there Bill on the back side of the mule? Lost me there Bill on the back side of the mule? I got a bunch of those... missing knob no pullies. I did not have them at first, but had to add them. The hitch assembly would pivot on the pull rod and the hitch would droop. I repurposed a stock pair of 1/2" WH tierods for the material. Sorry, no pictures from the inside... Ed Kennell 39,805 #15 Posted February 19 I bolted my receiver on the side of the frame so I could see to hook up. The deck and it's mule dive is still usable. 2

ri702bill 8,769 #17 Posted Thursday at 12:18 AM Milled a square cut thru, shortened the back of the mount until it hit the rod inside and seated out the front. Weld there and several other spots of contact.....
Lee1977 6,934 #18 Posted Thursday at 01:13 PM (edited) Here's one I made. It's bolted together with a 1/2" bolt. I used a 5/8" bolt in the hitch just because I had some. There a few more home made designs that members made that go back to the mid hitch Edited Thursday at 01:52 PM by Lee1977
ri702bill 8,769 #19 Posted Thursday at 01:52 PM Lee - I like the way the mid-hitch rod is turned down at the ends - keeps it centered and gives ample material to drill the center out to accept the short portion of the stay rod. I passed on doing that as I keep the cutting deck on all summer. Can't mount both at the same time.... my version allow that.

My Raider 12 is the towing tractor as it's a little short on power with a mowing deck. It will do it just slow, when I have another strong 12, 16, 18, and 20. That's a 5/8" bolt that that I had.
