rmaynard 15,887 #11 Posted March 13 For the last several years I have been staying in Gettysburg, specifically Choice Hotels, which includes Quality Inn & Sleep Inn. I had several terrible experiences at the Quality Inn, so I've been staying at the Sleep Inn since 2022. Last year there was a problem with the breakfast service, so I wrote to Choice Hotels. They said they would issue me 35,000 points for my trouble . Big woop. So this year, I downloaded a new version of their app, and lo and behold, there are my 35,000 points that I'd forgotten about. So I booked my two nights at the Sleep Inn, and it was totally paid for by points. Here's this year's room. 2

Many of us drag that stuff to and fro for other members. It's a small part of what makes this WH thing a great hobby 2
WHX?? 50,477 #22 Posted March 24 Question tho... bringing the enclosed with parts for sale. Prolly tent camp or crash in the truck. Where does a guy set up to sell right out of the trailer? On the back side by Ed Dog's buckets? Are those spots governed by squatters rights or just first come first serve? I know you can't sell on the infield but seems they let a guy with a few things for sale on the back side. Really don't want to drag everything out and set up in the horse trading area barns.
rmaynard 15,887 #23 Posted March 24 (edited) 9 hours ago, WHX?? said: Where does a guy set up to sell right out of the trailer? Typically, you can sell from a trailer anywhere outside of the orange line. It's first come, first serve. Some areas are already taken by big sellers before the gates open (that's always been a pet peeve of mine).
